Seed
Related tutorialA seed is the number that initializes the random noise pattern an image model starts from. With the same prompt, settings and seed, generation is reproducible and gives back the same image; changing the seed while keeping everything else fixed produces a different variation of the same idea.
In tendre.red, the Random seed checkbox is on by default so every run gives you something new; uncheck it and the Seed field fills in with the value just used, so you can lock it to reproduce or fine-tune a result you liked. The Gallery's Reuse button also reloads a past image's exact prompt and seed in one click.
