Camera movements: guided and prompted moves

tendre.red offers two families of camera moves, guided and prompt-based, from a single dropdown right next to the Motion field in the Video tab.

1. Guided moves, precise

With a starting image, the Cloud engine and the Full model, guided moves use a real reference clip to drive the camera precisely: push in, pull back, pan left, pan right, orbit left, orbit right, aerial descent, crane up, and tracking shot. Without a starting image, or on Turbo, these are grayed out in the menu.

2. Prompt-based moves, approximate

Static, tilt up, tilt down, handheld and zoom in are inserted as text into your Motion prompt instead of driving the render directly. They work everywhere: Local engine, Turbo, text to video, image to video and Transition. The model does its best, less precise than a guided move but still effective.

3. Pick a move

Open the camera move dropdown next to the Motion field, labeled "+ Camera move," and select an option from either group. Guided moves are listed first, prompt-based ones below.

4. Generate

Press Generate as usual. A guided move is baked into the render through its reference clip; a prompt-based move is inserted as English text right into your prompt.

5. Combine with other features

Camera moves work together with sound, and in the Full model, with character voice for a fully directed shot.

See Turbo vs Full for where guided moves are available, and Image to video to set the starting image guided moves need.
