Place your subject in a scene or backdrop

A scene is the location behind your subject: a room, a street, a studio backdrop. tendre.red lets you set it with a simple description, or reuse a location you trained once.

1. Describe a scene in the prompt

The simplest way is to describe the backdrop directly in your prompt alongside the subject, for example standing in a rainy city street at night, neon signs. Subject and scene render together in one pass.

2. Or train a reusable scene

For a location you reuse often, open the Scene tab. Give it a name and a trigger word (the word you will type in the prompt to summon it later), then choose how to build it: Describe the scene, where you pick Place type, Time, Mood and Weather from dropdowns plus a few free-text details and the app generates a synthetic dataset to train on, or Import images, where you supply 15 to 30 real photos of the place from different angles. Press Create the scene (or Train scene) and TendreEngine pauses briefly to free GPU memory while it trains.

3. Combine subject and scene

Once trained, the scene appears under My scenes and in the Scene dropdown on the Generate tab. Pick it, adjust the Scene strength slider, and add a character if you want. tendre.red blends the two so the subject reads naturally as part of the location.

4. Refine framing

If the subject looks out of place, adjust the framing with the Shot framing dropdown or your own wording and regenerate.
