Generate matching sound effects for a video
See the featuretendre.red generates foley and impact sounds, footsteps, a door closing, glass breaking, for a silent clip using the same local Add sound tool that also handles ambience tracks. It runs on the local video engine, on your own GPU.
1. Open Add sound
Pick a clip from your output folders, or import a video, then open Add sound from the Video section of the sidebar.
2. Describe the effect
Write a short, specific prompt naming the sound you want, for example "footsteps on gravel", "door creak", "glass shattering". The more concrete the prompt, the closer the match; vague prompts fall back to general ambience instead of a distinct effect.
3. Mind the negative prompt
It defaults to "music, voice, speech" so the output stays sound effects rather than a music bed or dialogue. Leave it as is for clean foley.
4. Generate and iterate
Press Add sound and preview the result. Generation covers the whole clip in one pass, there is no per-moment editing, so if one sound is off, adjust the prompt and regenerate the full clip rather than patching a single moment. MMAudio works best on short clips, roughly 5 to 10 seconds.
Need a bed of ambience instead of a punchy effect, see Add a soundtrack. To add spoken dialogue, see Character voices.
