Transitions: morph between two images

Transition builds a short video that morphs from a start image into an end image, always rendered in the cloud, instead of animating from a single frame or a prompt alone.

1. Switch to Transition

In the Video group of the sidebar, choose Transition instead of Create a video. Transition always renders on the Cloud engine; there is no Local option for it.

2. Set the start and end images

Import your start image with "Choose an image," then do the same for the end image below it. Both can come from previous generations or from disk. If the end image has a different aspect ratio than the clip, the app crops it to center and warns you how much of it is lost.

3. Set length, strength and sound

Pick a clip length, capped at 15 seconds for Transition. Adjust the Transition strength slider between Blend, where the change spreads across the whole clip, and Exact, which defaults to 0.75 and sticks closer to the end image but can read as a cut if the two images are very different. Leave Sound on for an audio layer generated alongside the morph.

4. Generate

Press Generate. tendre.red computes the in-between motion so the clip flows from the first image to the second, ready to use on its own or chained into a longer sequence.
