Apply a visual style to your renders

Styles are one-click presets that push a generation toward a consistent look, without you having to type lighting and rendering cues by hand every time.

1. Open the Style dropdown

In the Generate tab, find the Style selector below the Character options. It is a plain dropdown grouped by category: Photo, Painting, Illustration, 3D, and Retro / Misc. Default is "None".

2. Pick a preset

Photo presets include Photorealistic, Cinematic, Studio portrait, 35mm film, Black & white and Polaroid. Painting covers Oil painting, Watercolor, Pencil sketch, Ink / comic and Pop art. Illustration has Anime, B&W manga, Cartoon, Fantasy art and Concept art. 3D offers 3D render, 3D cartoon (Pixar) and Low poly, and Retro / Misc covers Pixel art, Cyberpunk, Steampunk and Synthwave. There is no live thumbnail, generate once to see the effect.

3. Combine with your prompt

Write your subject and scene as usual; the preset adds its own lighting and rendering terms on top, behind the scenes. You can still add your own lens or lighting words if you want to push the look further.

4. Generate and compare

Render the same prompt with a couple of different presets to see which one fits your subject best. Switching styles does not require rewriting the prompt.

5. Combine with a trained character or scene

Styles work together with a trained character: the identity stays consistent while the visual treatment changes. They also combine with a trained scene in the same generation.
